    Hi Rosy

It it actually harder to make a framed page than a dwt or a template with includes.. Have you asked yourself why you want to make a framed page in particular? Is it because you want different menus on the left while the content changes in the right?

What is your aim with the framed pages? What do you think they give you that you think your missing using something else? Is it because you learnt frames first or something?

    Hi Rosey

From what you asked, I assume that you want to get rid of the frames but keep the look.

The header, footer and navigation sections the same on each page, with only the body changing. When coupled with CSS makes for great sites that can be changed in a couple of minutes.

As Tina says, you can use either DWT's or a template, I personally prefer the template route as this gives easier coding than DWT's (no doubt people will disagree).

On my sites, I usually have a header, footer and main nav as htm pages and then use the page include within FrontPage, or indeed straight HTML where the site is being used on a LINUX server without FPSE.

Every page has the same look and the same style, plus they are search engine friendly.

To add to the info, Template or dwt with includes with css with or without html or xhtml all can be used on windows or unix with or without fpse makes no difference.

Mike I'd be interested to know why you prefer template to dwt .. I agree template is better rather than dwt if your using asp or php pages, I use asp or php search and I leave that page out of being attached to the dwt as for one page its too messy bothering with a dwt. Is that the reason or is there another reason?

     Thanks Tina
